I love Q&As with the author… except this time I’m the author!

A 5 stars review for “Back in the rain”!!!

So many secrets, mystery, and danger. There are lies, cover ups and much more in this read. Not only that but there is surprises that you may not have seen coming. This book is a great read and I would definitely recommend it if you are not opposed to the warnings. Elen Chase did an incredible job on this book.

Back in the rain got an amazing review by Gay Book Reviews!! You can check it out HERE.

Maybe I’m being too enthusiastical about “just” one review, but as a self-published author who knows nothing about marketing, I’m really struggling to let people know that my work is out there. Knowing that someone liked my work so much boosts my confidence and gives me hope for my future as an author.

The author in question is Alessandra Hazard ( The first book of my review series is “Just a bit Twisted”, first in the Straight Guys series. Continue reading “Review series: Hazard-lover #1”

I wish I could quit you

The first weekly quote of the new season is from a book that I read when I was a teenager and that still gets under my skin, after so many years. I have a bit of a thing for tragic romances, unrequited loves, relationships endangered by secrets and heartbreaking breakups.

Brokeback Mountain is all of this and so much more.

“You got no fuckin idea how bad it gets. I’m not you. I can’t make it on a couple high-altitude fucks once or twice a year. You’re too much for me, Ennis, you son of a whoreson bitch. I wish I knew how to quit you.”

Something about my character design

Working on the promotional video for my book Back in the rain, I spent weeks drawing the characters and some scenes from the book.

As I said already here, I’ve always loved drawing and give a face to my characters as soon as they started taking shape in my head. I don’t consider myself an artist, but drawing helps a lot my creative process! Continue reading “Something about my character design”
